Yeah- had a stainless PPK 22 for a short while. I won't be doing that again. Threaded barrel nut worked fine, shot OK, but was so damn front heavy with the Zephyr can on it- that was my last host that isn't a Ruger MK series. Even the 22/45 lite was way better handling than the PPK 22.

I bought it from Soviet, shot it with and without my .22 can, and decided it had to go within two range sessions. I'm a Bond junkie too, love the movies. I have a PPK/S only because of those movies. Had a P22 for a short time too. Traded it off.

Long story short, I love the Bond series, but have absolutely zero affection for Walther products. I'd like to tryout one of the PPQ/PPA/whatever pistols have the decocker button on the slide. But I'm in no rush to do it.

You need to try the S&W m&p compact 22
