I prefer the Osprey in almost all applications other than my mp5, when rail recess is important, or im shooting non jacketed lead rounds.

Understand that. The Osprey is just bulky with it's odd size. I am sure it does better at suppression than the Octane, though.

I guess not too bad on a rifle. The Osprey tends to dwarf most pistol hosts, to me. Gee, does this Osprey make my pistol look small?

How do you like that rail with the FSB?
It was a bit tricky to get the clamps in on the barrel. It is a bit heavier than standard hand guards, but feels solid. If you go this route I recommend it. Esp is you don't want to mess around with the barrel but.

Accuracy wise, it was a vast improvement. I am debating putting a hand stop on where the bottom rail is. I wido that after it sees a few hundred more rounds with and with out gloves.

If you want grips troy sells squid grips. The fde is more gray than the magpul fde. Just so you know

I should have gotten the greylower. Oh well.. Hindsight 20/20

The lower will be all green, I didnt feel like messing around with the upper colors since the other lower arefoliage .. Basically make it as ugly as possible.
