I love mine hope you have good luck in finding the right parts.
As @Jake said I wish I had kept more of these parts back in the day.

Colt A2 Upper with M4 feed ramps
Colt BCG
PSA CHF CL 1/7 10.5" barrel
Furniture is just what was already on the gun.
Hell yea that is nice.
Now I want to build an A1 style using a nodak retro lower.
That will be a project later in the spring.

I am working on getting my A1 back from Tommy. Brownells makes A1 lowers now as well as uppers and barrels. They have a whole retro line.
Thanks will check them out when I get home.

I wish I hadn't sold mine.I remember back in the day when you couldn't give a fixed carry handle upper away. I wish I had gotten more of them back then.
I wish I hadn't sold mine.
I built an SP1 clone years ago because I came across a helluva deal on an old-school slick side fixed carry handle upper with the teardrop forward assist and an old-school lower with the non-gated mag release. I honestly forgot I had it until a few months ago when I was digging through the safe at my dad's house looking for some old .38-55 ammo to shoot my grandpa's old '94 Winchester. Other than that I sold a few others off dirt cheap because flat top uppers were the new rage and the prices on fixed carry handle uppers kept dropping so I wanted to get rid of them before they were worthless. Little did I know...lol
Wasn't me. I cant even think about selling mine.At one time I had two SP1 carbines and a full size plus 5 other various green label colts. I sold them all a few years back to buy a full auto mac 11 which the owner decided he didn't want to sell about the time I came up with the money.
