been shooting a g19 with some hand loads and it is very quiet. Wondering if a 226 would be discernably better as a host?
I can't really tell, but the 9mm 1911 I shoot is noticeably quieter.
I do think additional spring weight in a Glock helps seal the chamber better
Interesting. Any idea why?My Gen 2 19 is noticeably quieter than my Gen 4 19 or Gen 3 17 were.
Interesting. Any idea why?
Ive heard glocks are loud hosts bc the tolerances are so loose more gas escapes without having to go through the can which results in more noise. Idk though
tight tolerances aren't keeping noise in, its all about how much pressure is left in the barrel when the slide opens and action noise.Interesting. Any idea why?

The GSG 1911 is specifically the one known for being so quiet. So I'm told.
