Interest in Professional Armorers course?

Full disclosure will be forthcoming. As I mentioned to another member, I just didn't want to start "advertising" a class until we had a date and location nailed down AND I knew there was sufficient interest. I should have some dates from him in the next day or so. From there, I've got to secure the location. Once that is all settled, I'll make a formal announcement in a new thread. I'll also have a full CV on the instructor, course agenda, tool list, etc available for distribution.

I have no doubt that the training is with $400 but I am, admittedly, poor as fudge at the moment. My son's college tuition is killing my fun budget more than I care to admit.

Here's the deal. We're looking at the calendar now to get some possible dates. Also talking to one department tonight and a couple more tomorrow to see who is interested / willing to host and has a suitable classroom.
Once location and date has been nailed down, I will start a new thread with a formal announcement, specific details, links to class info and registration info.

Just talked to the instructor. He has reduced the course cost since I went through the class three years ago. My initial post was based on old information.
NEW COURSE COST IS $350

Odds are, weekdays will be better for me(& most of the cops). 2nd week in April, I'm already booked elsewhere.
We're looking at the weekend of April 16th or 23rd.

I took my class at Warner Robins, & they had a firing range available. I just don't remember who's range it is. AFB or Police, I don't remember.
South of Richard B Russell, near the Anchor Glass place.
Heck, I don't remember exactly, but The Noodle House was south of there. We ate at the Mexican restaurant in the same plaza as the Noodle House.

Thanks for the info. We should be able to get it set up with Henry County PD. They've hosted the class twice before. If that doesn't work out, I may be in touch to see if you can provide a contact. Appreciate the heads up.
Also, American Heritage in McDonough has classrooms & an indoor range. don't know their rates, but my wife can probably get a discount.
Quite frankly, I think some people would avoid coming if it were hosted at American Heritage. Trust me, if I didn't think it would be an issue I would have already set it up. They're literally 5 minutes from my house and have plenty of space.
