The PS90 would be a hoot, I wouldn't mind something of the same size in 9mm. The problem seems to be that most of the high volume companies (that could keep cost down) are pretty much stuck on only offering variants of their tried and true models, there just isn't that much innovation. That keeps the neat, boutique stuff out of the hands of a lot of folks and allows premiums to be charges for platforms that are no more expensive to produce than an AR.

Very true. As cool as the PS90 is let's face it, it's mostly plastic. I can't imagine it costs FN more than $500 to produce...if that. Same goes for the USC 45. When you factor in how long they have already been in production the numbers likely fall even more.

I think I'm going to get myself a trust and maybe look into a suppressor at some point. I just hate the idea of waiting 6 months for it.

In 2002 it cost Ruger approximately $90-125 total to build a GP100. That takes into account legal fees, R&D, the whole ball of wax.

How often do you shoot? I have found that many people that own a lot of guns but don't get out and shoot them get bored with their trophies. (not saying that's you)
I've actually found that at times when I'm not getting to shoot a lot, I end up buying more stuff. I guess it's a way of getting my fix that I would ordinarily get from shooting.

Nfa items saved me from this. First you have Suppressors to shop for, then you start buying hosts then your looking to make weird and crazy quiet hosts and you find yourself having everything getting worked on at Dobbs Defense
This. Getting into NFA is a game changer.
