Mine has the thumb hole stock. It's threaded just like an AK47 so you can mix/match your muzzle devices.
Oh, and I know dude used heavy bullets for his test but I read somewhere you shouldn't shoot anything more than a 150 grain bullet out of a PSL. Supposedly it beats the crap out of the internals.
I like the five round mags because it forces you to slow down your rate of fire. 7.62x54R has a LOT of powder and these guns heat up quickly.
Yeah, PSL has the sexiness factor head and shoulders over the VEPR. Also, if you get a VEPR you can get SVD style stocks from Ironwood Designs. Carolina Shooter Supplies has VEPR stuff too.
