Howa. Anyone own one?

I've never owned a Howa
I bought this for Christmas for my daughter

It's a 308 caliber. Floating barrel.
Bipod and a Japanese scope on it.
Did little research this am. Made in Japan
Anyone have any experience with Howa?

They are a clone of the Weatherby action, not a bad piece of hardware. I want to say that they were imported by Smith and Wesson a while back

A friend of mine has one in .22-250. Good rifle... although his is heavy as hell with the bull barrel and green/gray laminate stock. Fairly smooth action, reasonable trigger, and it shoots about MOA with his loads. Although I've never considered him good with details, so I don't know how good his reloads are for the rifle.

Good, solid rifles. I've owned a couple. A .22-250 and .243. Both shot pretty well.

Don't own one but would buy one in a minute. Smooth action nice weight. The .308 I had my hands on was SHWEEEEEET!
