Penetration is one thing...what size hole the projectile makes is another. With as fast as 9mm goes at that close a distance I wouldn't be surprised to see that the slug passed clean through. Sure, a 45 might not have as much penetrating power as a 9mm nowadays but all that means is that the 45 slug dumped ALL its energy into the perps body...

It's not hard to rig up an old DVR and some cameras...fairly inexpensive too.

Yes, let's not forget the temp wound cavity. At the same time, I wouldn't be surprised to also see some .45 HPs pass through as well; while they will expand to a larger diameter, if expansion doesn't begin immediately (& depending upon shot placement and specific ammo type), .45 will exit as well, but the temp wound cavity would be much more significant.
