Yeah, I know you're a B&T fan. I kinda want a cool gun to pass down to some family members that isn't your typical, run of the mill AR type gun. Something that's super fun for new shooters (love taking newbies to the range and getting them hooked on shooting) easy to shoot for beginners, and might have some eventual collectibility due to low production numbers ...but that's not that important.

Im just throwing out my personal opinion. Factoring in the above comment, I would not get the PS90.

I say this for a few reasons. First, I like the idea of something unique to pass down, the problem I see is eventually FN may stop making gun in 5.7 which will lead to really hard and expensive ammo.

The ammo is a second reason, the style and operation of the ps90 is super cool, but it is a very expensive rifle with very expensive ammo, and we can’t get the good stuff that really makes the round shine. If you don’t mind putting the money in to train with expensive ammo then it could be a useful gun. If it’s a range toy there are other options I personally think still fit your want/need for example:

Tavor or Aug- not a typical AR, unique looking, common ammo, the Tavor is offered in 9mm (I shot one, it is fucking awesome).

RMR-30 or whatever the rifle version is called- Similar to the PS90 in the small fast round, good capacity, cheaper and easier to find ammo, cheaper purchase price if the gun.

MP-5 clone- while not modern, it is a cool recognizable gun, you like German stuff, you already stock 9mm. You can build it as a pistol with a brace to avoid having to do a tax stamp on it.

UZI- well, I just think they are cool

The PS90 is cool, stupid looking if you don’t SBR it though. But to me it is way too expensive for a range toy and ammo costs too much to train with it for a defensive gun. I know you have a .22 can. Is it rated for 5.7? If so, you would be silly to not make it a SBR and suppress it.

By all means, do what you want but as much as I like the PS90 it is too expensive for a novelty in my mind.

I want to shoot either one you get though:bounce:

Yeah, I get what you're saying. Ammo availability long term and a slightly higher price doesn't bother me, I'd just buy 5k over the course of the year and be set for quite a while.

All good recommendations, and yeah my can is rated to 5.7...heck, I bet I could shoot 5.56 through it..it's a 9oz stainless monocore tank.

I've been thinking KRISS vectors too. I'll look at the Tavor's closer.

I'd rather spend the $$ on a range toy than anything else honestly, they're what I enjoy and shoot the most.

More power to you, I try not to tell folks how to spend their money. I just think there are so many options for unique guns that don’t have the downsides of the PS90. The Kriss is a really cool gun too, it’s on my list of guns I want to shoot sometime.

You should definitely look at the 9mm Tavor. At the first IV8888 range day I got to shoot one and it was my favorite gun I shot there, even with all the full auto guns that Tavor was just super fun to shoot.

I'd like to shoot one, they look unbalanced like most of the weight is to the rear.

If you are considering going another route than 5.7, the TP9 would be slick. About as close as one can get to an MP7. SBR it. The stocks are cheap and can be used on other B&T's.

There's a tailhook brace for the GHM9.

Isn't that the setup that MAC has that he loves so much? Even though it rips his beard hairs out when he shoots it.

MAC is one of the few people on YouTube that I'd buy a gun solely based on his recommendation.

Yep, that’s the one.
