I had a few GSP officers talk to me recently who wanted to try out my rifle suppressors.

I asked them what they were issued, and these guys have LWRC piston guns.

I was just surprised by that level of quality in an issued gun.

Also, i was speaking to one of their "specialist" in non-lethal firearm usage, so hopefully ill get to play with some beanbag and paint marker rounds when i go shooting with them.

@DoglegArms If i get this put together you should bring a case of toys to play with.

Yeah I've talked to a bunch of them at work. They like them much better than the benellis they had. I was a bit surprised too that they got such high end rifles.

Ahh so that explains why they were the lowest paid troopers in the country. The government was splurging on equipment.

The pay sucks for them. But every trooper I've spoken with loves working there. I can see some of the benefits

Oh I agree completely. Their training is no joke, for the 1st month you have to stay on trooper school base. No going home on the weekends like most POST academies. The governor did, however, give them and DNR wardens a pay raise a month or two ago.

Take home cars are nice too.

A few of the ones I talked to love that they deal with way less bullshit calls but still get to go to the big events

God's Special Po-lice!

Good time for LE to be well-armed and armored, with your head on a swivel. Of course, that should be all the time. Miss my old street cop days.......times like these I wish I were back there.
