Well, I spent 3 hours at the orthopedist's office today. It turns out that the Rhuemetologist did not order the MRI with contrast which caused some issues with being able to see what is going on. The computers were down at their office. I missed a call when I was about 10 minutes away with the voicemail saying that I needed to bring the disc with my Imaging on it as they could not link with the hospital! Fortunately, I had the disc with me.
The bottom line is that I have rotator cuff impingement, bursitis and arthritis in my right shoulder. The doc gave me a 100 cc shot of dexamethasone/lidocaine shot. He used sonography to make sure going in the right place. I also have to complete physical therapy for a 6 weeks. He will re-evalute then. Surgery is a last resort option with this guy.
