Shooting my Ruger SR22p which never fails after thousands of rounds, I had a Remington golden bullet explode at the rim. Shook me up a little.
I also shoot a Bersa 22.cal and the gun will only shoot high velocity ammo. And the golden bullets function almost as well as the CCI mini mags. They cycle the gun well. I have had a few split cases with the Golden, but usually no problem and they shoot fine. However this one cartridge has me wondering. Do you have any ideas what caused this? Here is a similar pic of a guy that had the same problem. I was lucky the bullet did not stay in the barrel. I doubt it is the gun, but really curious.
