Glock Threaded Barrel

So while I'm waiting on my stamp to come back I have started gathering all the other necessaries to suppress my guns. One thing on my list was a threaded barrel for my G19. I've wanted a Storm Lake for a while and finally got one. But damn, it seems long. It's marked 19 9mm. So it's right. But if just seems weird. What do y'all think?

That looks like a 17 barrel to me but you’ll have more accuracy out of it

I don't have a threaded 19, but that looks like about the same gap as on my G17 and G21. I can take pictures later. I haven't posted any suppressor pictures in a long time.

Who makes the one you have? And yeah, I thought it looked like a 17 barrel also. I mean, I get having a little extra before the threads start, but the could've made it 1/4" shorter and still had enough.

Yeah, Lone Wolf. Their logo is super Ghey. Main reason I wanted a Storm Lake. And Storm Lake is made in USA. I'll probably order a protector of Amazon tonight.

G21 with Storm Lake, G17 with Lone Wolf...

The Storm Lake is a much nicer barrel as far as the overall look/fit and finish. Lone Wolf is fine for a budget barrel, but it's not that "nice" in my opinion. Functions fine, but just not finished very well.

Yeah, that SL is finished very nicely. Especially for only giving $80 for it. And after @chance said what he did about the guide rod I went back and looked. When I track the slide back the barrel drops back to where there is just enough clearance for a Suppressor to miss the rod. I learned something today.

My 17 has the same gap with a Story Lake barrel. I traded the factory barrel straight up for mine with no visible wear. They shoot good except my fiber optic sights are in the back of the can since they are not suppressor sights.

Those suppressor height sights on the G17 in my picture above are the reason I bought a used Gen 4 G17... I hated shooting them without the can on the gun.

Decided I would have to have a second one setup with standard height sights... then sold the Gen 4 G17 during the HK fund raising.
