Quick question regarding glocks...I've been carrying my 19 and so far it's been pretty great. I do have one annoying problem though...when I insert a fully loaded 15 round mag, chamber a round, and holster the gun I noticed that bending or otherwise moving around rapidly causes the rounds in the mag to rattle...its fairly easy to hear.

Is there a way to fix this?

I've also noted that slamming a loaded 15 round mag in on a closed slide is pretty damn hard...not a huge deal but not ideal. Is this also normal?

It's normal, every 19 I've had does it. It's a minor annoyance but I try and leave mags alone so I don't fuck with reliability.

Indeed. That seems like a problem glock would address...oh well. Not a huge deal.

are you topping the mag back off after you chamber a round? I don't know that I have ever noticed my mags rattle. Let me check.

just checked, no rattle. I even took a round out, still no rattle. Tried with the mag in the gun, out of the gun, etc. I guess I don't understand what you are describing. I'll be at the M&G in douglasville Saturday if you want to compare Glocks. :boink:

It sounds like one or two rounds are moving back and forth in the magazine...

I have a mixture of mags that rattle and some that don't. There seems to be no pattern. Some just rattle with -1. They are fine at -2. I have the same issue with CZ P07 mags. None of my HK mags rattle.

The only other mag I've had this happen with was with a CZ PCR

Never noticed either ,carry 17. But I am partially deaf. Had issues with XD with mags being tight but neither of my Glocks.
