Have you ever seen this gas vent. Looks like it eliminates excess gas to the face ejecting it out of the FA. Curious if anyone has seen or used it.

I've seen it or something just like it. It may aid in reducing gas but it won't eliminate it. Best thing to get IMO is a WAR upper but if it's not a 556 build then I think a gas buster charging handle is the best. Of course you can use a whole bunch of anti gas measures together and it would probably work decently in conjunction with each other

I haven't been gassed by my AR9 and have had mirages coming off the can indoors. Try an 8oz buffer and a 308 carbine buffer spring and see if that helps.
I'm running an extra power spring and 11.5 oz buffer lol

Holy shit. 11.5 oz? Damn i was worried about the 7.5 oz and extra power spring. Was thinking on going to the 10 oz kaw buffer. Mine will probably never be shot unsuppressed.

I bought the Slash's Heavy Buffer adjustable kit. It goes up to 13oz. They recommend starting there and going down until it reliably holds open on the last round, like any other buffer setup. I made it down to 11.5 before it started holding open.

7.5 is like unsuppressed buffer weight in a 9mm platform.
