That makes sense. I only have my "go to" mags loaded. I have thousands of rounds on stripper clips, for just in case.

If I have empty mags, im out of ammo
About 300 or 400 rounds in mags is sufficient for any foreseeable scenario. Unless there are "mostly peaceful protests" in my neighborhood.

4 day weekend for me. Between last night hearing more homicidal/suicidal talk from my dad and then waking up to my piece of shit freezer reading 28 degrees, it just wasn't happening. I have a gut feeling this is the year that he's gonna snap but I can't seem to convince anyone else
Lancers are my ready to go mags. Some of those mags have been loaded since the riots when I lived in Atlanta (or south of I-20, generally)
Yeah I figure six mags in a bandolier/purse plus one in the carbine would have been sufficient to establish enough security to get away from a threat and deal with anything else on exit. Figure it's a REAL bad day blowing through 200 rounds and no way I'm lugging around 10+ magazines in a situation like that.
