Still hot here! I had an ugly run yesterday - I think it was 97 with 105 or so heat index.
I think it was mile 8 that I realized I might die, but on Riverside someone will see me. They'll steal my wallet, then call 911 - maybe.
EMTs will pull my earphones out and say I died because I was listening to Black Sabbath.
I was amused at the thought of being some preacher's bad example of how devil music can kill you.

Went to the indoor range earlier with my FIL. Let him shoot several of the AK's and finally got the Aimpoint sighted in on the Scorpion. Holy shit that thing is fun. Shield S15 mags work great in the Glock 48's and 43x as well. They would jam up when I hand cycled them but live firing they did pretty good. I could feel the slide clunk into battery a couple times during the first mag or two but no malfunctions and after that they ran fine. Still gonna run several more mags through it before they go into the gun for carry but hopefully they will perform well.
100 here for the next week.
The benefit of 100+ temps is carpenter bees can't fly. They'll hover 3-4" over a surface but no higher.
I killed a dozen in the few minutes I was outside last time we were that hot.
