Yeah... i had a turbo 1.8L VW back in about 2001. It was 13:1. Not exactly designed for long life.

13:1 with a turbo is nutz!

Not sure if it's the best method but I always cut down any I want to relocate, mark them and dig up late fall and transplant where I want.

Briars are pretty hardy so you may can move anytime it's not flowering or baring fruit
