First euro rib type, ground down front lugs, no stampings of any kind whatsoever. Ribs are very clearly stamped, reminds me of East German but the spine welds are different.

In a word, yes.
I still have a Italian 92FS somewhere, but IMO the 92X is so much better as a modern handgun.
Vertec grip, front and rear strap checkering, fixing the slide mount safety issue, 1913 rail, 17 round mags, etc.
I might be wrong, but the grip looks a bit thinner too. The old 92FS always felt a bit fat in the hand.
All in all, it looks like a big improvement. I've never shot one, but would like to.
