I still have to put a bike and a vanity together but the asshole lesbian neighbors decided tonight was a good time to shoot off fireworks, and now they have started with the mortars so both of my little ones and my infant are still awake.

damn deer owes me a new front plate.

he popped right up and took off hope he’s okay.

Was only going 25 but my truck got a lot of weight to it.

You can have the front plate mount off of my truck if it'll fit yours. I have been meaning to take it off anyways.

I guess I should post a poll but...

Ok, growing up, Santa gifts were unwrapped like @Chainsaw is showing.

My wife's family the opposite - Santa wrapped all his gifts.

How was it done in your family?

Me too! I got on the brake for maybe 1 second before impact so hopefully his insides are good. He was running from something; I have no choice but to assume it was a squatch

I damn near got one last week. Bringing my daughter home, driving 55ish on the highway. Damn deer popped up, stumbled right in front of me, and managed to get off the road. I stomped on the brakes, car anti-locks engage, and we get a lot slower real quick.

About 20 seconds later, i hear my 8 year old say from the back "Daddy, that was scary!!"

And then i was like- oh shit, she's in the car. Then like, she heard everything i just said....

Then i replied "yeah, did you see that deer? It jumped up out of nowhere! I'm glad we didn't hit it"

She says "yeah, let's not go that again"

And i say "yeah, i agree"

Unwrapped until i was a teenager. Then everything was wrapped so we didn't find it early.
