I noticed LaRue likes to use 1/8 barrels in his rifles. I prefer 1/7 but honestly I doubt I could ever tell the difference. I think 1/7 would stabilize a heavy bullet better, like the 77 grain, etc but this is just a guess. However he does guarantee sub MOA accuracy.

The reason why the military uses a 1/7 twist barrel, is because that twist rate ensures that the M856, 64 grain(tracer) will ignite as it exits out of the barrel, and will be visible out to 800 meters. Most match grade barrels are 1/8 twist from what I've seen. I have a 1/9 twist 14.5 barrel on one of my rifles, and it loves 69 grain ammo, and is very accurate to 300 meters, with that grain weight bullet. I know that a lot of shooters, use 77 grain ammo in 1/8 twist rifles.

Boil the turkey carcass down with enough water to cover. I heavily seasoned my turkey this year so my broth is cut with some chicken broth I had saved in the freezer. Cut up the carrots/celery/onion i had stuffed the bird with, into the pot. Chopped leftover turkey, frozen peas in the pot. Boiling the noodles now. Gonna be gooood! If I feel like it, I'll throw in a can of cream of celery/mushroom/chicken any of the 3 work well.
