I've found a 50/50 mixture of Black Walnut & Rosewood stains provides a finish with enough color variation that blood stains blend right in.

It's a pretty good deal for $200 bucks, no doubt. You can pick up a new G2C at Georgia Firing Line, for $250.00 plus tax. My G3C was $300.00 bucks plus tax at GFL, when I bought it a few weeks ago. I still need to run a few hundred rounds through it to break it in.
