Seriously though. I was walking an enjoying the regular shit; nebula, stars, comets, planes etc. then I saw a small, no noise, aircraft go tearing ass across the sky at what has to be 1000 miles an hour. Blacked out, zero noise, just zipping by. Wild.
And a bunch of bats. I can lure them in using my IR illuminator or make a cloud of them around my head by turning on my IR strobe

Brings back memories when I saw that one you and me talked about, although this one was way higher in the sky. But there were bats everywhere on the interstate, all hanging around the light poles

How far away was this aircraft from where you were standing? I personally hate it when the dog absolutely has to go out at 0300, I swear we are going to find a Bigfoot...
Actually the worst thing is the suprising amount of times I've seen cars cruising around my neighborhood at 0200 to 0400 while walking my dog. Next time I'm strapping my AR across my chest, to walk the dog.
