Mine is in the one room in the basement that isn't finished or climate controlled. It took me forever to get the humidity level right. I had 2 Golden Rods running and it brought it down from ~75% to ~60% but I wanted to get it below 50%. I have a 36" Golden Rod and an actual dehumidifier with a water catchment tank running in it now. It's been running for a few weeks with that setup and never gotten above 50% so I think I can go ahead and start filling it up now.

I have mine inside A/C, so haven't gone further than basics
