Why are they topping it off, doesn't make sense to me unless their was a problem. Don't top off units every once in a while like that's normal

They did top mine off 2 years ago,just had it checked and ok so far,just liming along till replacement time. Got a quote for 5100. 3.5 ton and 14 sear. reasonable??

that sounds reasonable, but the SEER rating seems low? I'm not up to speed on the latest/greatest however so I might be off base. What brand?

rheem, 13 is minimum code,too high and it won`t run long enough to get rid of humidity in da house. I know there is a fine line on where u can save money vs cost of unit but don`t remember where that sear sweet spot number is.

Had a client where they put a really high efficient unit in her cabin and she had big humidity issues right afterwards. System came with a monitor for that. She questioned them big time and they replaced unit and now all is well.

Meh. Chiropractor said I was a 1/2" out. One leg longer than the other. Got that fixed, so my body doesn't hurt like it did. Am still coughing and just feel drained. If I get up or move too fast, I get dizzy.
