My AMD has a super tight magwell. I even filed it some before I had it cerakoted. I don't want to file anymore and break the cerakote but I've got a slabside that won't fit, Bosnian 2 rib won't fit, a Paratrooper Waffle that won't fit, bakes won't fit...tankers and regular surplus all fit. It's these specialty/collector mags that won't fit.
Making some fancy boxes. Those will be pieces for the lid.

My WASR was like that too. I filed it a little bit and then test fit it with an old bake then repeated until it fit. Although that was on a WASR and not an SBR'd AMD so I didn't really give a fuck if I messed it up a little bit.

At the time even some tankers and surplus were too tight. I took off the absolute minimum to get all my mags to fit.
I bet the cerakote is just thick enough to cause fitting issues. I should have taken off a little bit more to compensate but I didn't think about it...
