Morning gents!
Took a co-worker to the range yesterday. Gave him a couple pointers, he went from "casual plinker" to bustin' steel at 300 and he's stoked. I really enjoy that.
Came in this morning to boiling water spewing out of a machine...got it fixed after about 45 minutes of torture. Had a nasty conversation with the two idiots that caused it. People are just stupid.

Get used to it. Not enough people to proccess the meat. Only 25 out of 50 states ended extra benies early.
It will help to push people back to work, but not enough to feed the country.
The Creek Nation is supposed to be opening up two meat processing places here - all the slaughterhouses are booked til next year!

You tube videos on processing. If you're serious about DIY, I recommend Marianski's book on home processing meat and sausage. It's a bible for food safety, also Walton's Sausage supplies has a YT channel called "meatgistics" that is very informative.

Price on carbines has gone downright stupid...like AKs...
Brownell's had some and when they released them they were gone in a matter of hours. Not sure if they released all of 'em at once or are holding some back. Just be prepared to pay big buckaroos.
We used to order wings and pizza from Jet's and then one day I was like, "Where did they put the wings on the menu?" I guess they just gave up for some time. Haven't checked back in a couple of weeks. Sad, because wife and I would have wings and the boys could have the pizza. And they delivered. Gonna have to find someone else I guess.
Damn I wish I was close. My favorite thing to do. I would absolutely take a vacation day and hunt up there for a couple days!
Get a job close to Atlanta. And do it!
This morning I had a young buck 100 feet from the house eating clover. Sunday we had 4 deer eating apples we had put out for them in the field.

If you're looking for deer to supplement your food source if things go south you maybe want to think again. I understand the deer population was almost eradicated during the Depression. I'm sure there were a lot less hunters back then and not as many hungry people as there would be today.
Also, learn how to hunt with a bow or cross bow as to not give away your position to others around you.
