She did. And my neck and back all of a sudden really started hurting starting tomorrow.
Fuck yeah! That’s how it’s done.
Why? Because insurance is “in case shit happens” and when nothing happens you don’t get anything, but when it happens and not your fault you need to get back as much as possible

That’s pretty cool.
My grandpa also had one of those old recording things with lots of tape (pre cassette, like a giant one forgot what it’s called) that held like 6hrs of audio on. Magneto-something
Real to real tape recorder? Magnetofon? It had 3 speeds, IIRC. Slowest gave you 6 hours, but quality was worse than on the highest speed.

I don’t remember. I was a kid. It was on a plastic reel and you had to attach it manually to the opposite reel and then either record or play audio.
It was smaller than a film projector but much larger than a cassette (I’d say the reels were about 13cm diameter and about ,75cm wide)
Magnetofon that’s what it was

Yep, magnetofon. Small ones took 4" reels, then 6" and 8".
We had medium size, took 4" and 6" reels. 8", if you took it apart and exposed magentic read/write heads.

Cool stuff. First time I went to Moldova was in the early 80s and I was a kid. Of course I had to bring gifts for cousins and one of those was a Radio Shack FM transmitter for around $7 or so.
I gave it to an older cousin.
Next day he built one of those radios with a wooden stake in the ground with rock salt, carbon, copper wire antenna on the house, a diode and a speaker (which was probably from an old phone) and we listened to that for a bit but I didn’t understand Russian or Romanian back then. Nice memories
