I grew up in Newnan. There’s a lot of good folks here. Unfortunately a lot of Atlanta riff raff have come down here in recent years and spoiled a lot of the charm. Newnan was full of 100+ year old oak trees, it’s something we took for granted I guess because now that they are all gone it really has changed the landscape. My parents got quoted today by a tree guy on removal of all 12 or so huge oak trees that fell on their property. He quoted 26k.

I finally had a chance to look at The Newnan Times Herald article and watch some drone footage of the affected area. I had no idea Downtown and just south were hit so hard. If you need anything, you have my number.
