I read that TX gets 23% of its energy from wind turbines. I had no idea they got that much.

I guess the blades ice up like aircraft wings then don't work no mo'.

You ought to see the wind farms around Amarillo. Crazy.

We have them here, and lots of other places down in Tejas do as well, but the Amarillo area is just nuts.
They build/ship components near me, when a section or a blade is going down the road next to you, you can get a better feel for the enormity of one of those things.
