Is Red Army Standard ammo (Century Arms) made by Tulammo? More to the point, did I get bad ammo in this deal and somebody switched it out? I thought RAS had green primers.

I'd want to take it apart to make sure it was cleaned properly after shooting 7N6 ammo. Also what kind of mags dose he have? All TAPCO is kinda' shitty on your end of the stick. Also, I'd want to meet him at a range, and make sure the weapon will group & not key hole the target. Also it's a terrible paint job... And it came with a folding stock, I'd make sure he still has it as part of the trade.
All in all, it's looking like a hard NO.
Red Army Standard is just the brand that the ammo is imported under. It can be Tula, Vympel, etc. The white box stuff is Tulammo... looks like the white box stuff I have sitting around. The red box stuff is probably similar to Golden Tiger. It's definitely not the *best* ammo, but as long as it shoots...

Review is 7 years old, but anyways, the green sealant is typical of Romanian ammo (the "SADU" headstamp is a giveaway too). AFAIK Tulammo is fine for blasting. I've only had one failure out of thousands of x39.
So annoyed that the insurance companies of the two cars that piled up on me are pointing fingers at each other and I'm stuck here with a badly wounded truck that can't be driven anywhere.
