I’m not familiar with the remote battery packs for a PVS-14 but I’m sure they have them. I use a 1.25lb counter weight on the back in a TNVC Mohawk pouch. You can definitely get a nice bump helmet for sub-500.00 a balling tube 3500.00 from a reputable manufacturer and don’t forget you’re going to want a nicer mount

bayonet style mounting a 14 on a j-arm sucks bad. You’ll want to convert your shoe to a dovetail and buy a dovetail j arm trust me. Don’t go cheap on your helmet mount expect 250-350 for that

Thanks for the advice! I don't need a ballistic helmet, just something to support the optic. I will look into the mount.

Honestly, i just want to shoot coyotes on a friend's cattle ranch. Could probably get away with a cheaper option, but i do love the training i did with a pvs and ir laser.

Get a nice tube
Look at Ops-core polymer bump helmets
Look at the rhino 2 dovetail mount
Look at buying a dovetail to mount (easily) to the 14
Buy a counterweight and you’re on

probably be under budget
