I did finally pick up parts locally to finish a build today, sadly they didn't have a mid length gas tube OR crush washers/lock nuts.... For some reason none of that was included with this TacPack flash hider...



Truck parts came earlier too! Gonna do u-joints and the mid shaft bearing tomorrow...

I want to build a AR rifle in 8mm... I know that there are AR rifles in 30-06. I think that I could use everything from the 30-06 rifle, mags, lower, buffer, upper etc. I'd just need a custom barrel/ chamber to fire the 8mm round.

Orrr... Orrr. I could spend about 6k and get a FG42 in either. 308, or 8mm.
