There's bolt on extended releases. You should do that, it cheaper, and you can take it off when you decide you don't like it.

There is nothing wrong with OG mag release. Safety, yea, I can see being able to use it easier.
Extended mag release came with my Polish Beryl clone. It works, but does not make enough of a difference for me to install it on other AKs.
