Love, love Martin's
There is one in Carrolton. We need a man date.Never heard of it. What’s on the menu?
For all of you hooligans in Woodstock, try A&M Kitchen on 92 near Trickum. It’s a sit-down or takeout place, not a drive-thru. But the food there is AMAZING. As good as Martin’s is, A&M is on an entirely different level. Like stratospheric different. There is one in Carrolton. We need a man date.
BLT, rib sandwich, steak sandwich, fried apple pie, onion rings out of this world.
Also- going with the bigger tent since imma start bringing some of my hellhounds with me when I go.@Tedkennedy @DeanMoriarty got my final base weight down 20.6 less consumables using some stuff you posted. With food/water I’ll be at 27.5lbs
need $350 worth of gear to get to this point lmao

Good plan, until that baar takes out half yer team and eats the goods. You know that brings up another point. If you're hiking with others you can eliminate the redundancy by one hiker hauling the water, one hauling the stove etc...
My wife hauls her Zpack tent. I haul the tarp. We each carry our own stove/food, it just makes prep faster but some folks do it different.
Then he can eat the bear.Good plan, until that baar takes out half yer team and eats the goods.

Nice added that spoon to the list! The Soto stove I’m getting worked really well. It’s @DeanMoriarty and we used the shit out of it last weekend!
Yeah my stove(s) are basically the same thing. And I now have the pot that the stove, fuel, and a collapsible mug fit into. I also already have that same spoon lol

@Tedkennedy I'm gonna need some of that Kennedy $ to afford one of those tents you posted....sheesh
I make those dehydrated meals, add boiled water then let them sit in an insulated pouch for 10-15 minutes. They are in a quart freezer bag (NOT a storage bag) - the long spoon is a big plus for that.
