Is it the SAR3 over there?

No idea about a SAR3 at TruPrep... As a matter of fact, I didn't even go in the store. I gave him a invite to the SET, and I've done a few deals with him, to include buying a truck from him years ago. I told him to get with you, he has 2200 rounds of 5.45x39 to sell, since I now own his rifle, that BTW, I sold to him on the ODT, appx. 8 years ago.

A sketchy youtube review? Imagine that...
They used to make movie guns.

That being said, I'm a little skeptical about the whole "hand grenade" ak theory. If it's forged, riveted properly and head spaced correctly it should be fine.

You're gonna get murked by the guy with the Delton when it all goes down anyway.

I wasn't saying the reviewer was sketchy, he claimed the parts kit has sketch parts...

Mine built up fine in the end but I did switch a couple parts out for surplus. Sold it to a dude before I shot it and he said it run fine and felt solid to him.

Does this mean you give this kit a 'pass' for the price?

That's why I asked what material would work best.
Socks are made from all sorts of materials

Grab one of your kids socks and see if it fits. LoL
And what size sock if it does fit?
Oil metal mags and stack them in 120mm cans. Put butcher paper between bakelitea and plastic mags. My NOS bakes are just wrapped in old tshirts in a bin.
