That Rit is some gnarly stuff. I've only seen like one kind of nylon webbing it didn't dye lol. Leave it in there for like a week...? I feel like I should try it on a baek grip first maybe lol. But what's the worse that could happen.

Honestly longer doesn’t always translate to more absorption. I would have to refer you to our current resident rit dye specialist @Knight lol
I believe it typically the heat of the water, and the amount of dye (obviously the material being dyed too) that changes the color more or less within a certain period of time. After that time not much changes
