Hey - in and catching up.
The swap meet was at Red Hill Range - not close but sold some ammo, some soap, and smoked a cigar. Would have just been sitting around the house today anyway so was a good time. I may have gotten sunburned @Knight.
Yeah, that video is spooky. I, too, couldn't believe either the husband or wife reacted to the pistol being shot at them. I thought maybe the audio was out of sync with the video. They literally just stood there without reacting...
Senseless tragedy. But this is why you carry. ALL THE TIME. I even carry when I'm cutting the grass.
And another thing - get along with your neighbors. Back many moons ago I learned in the Army (training to be a behavioral science specialist 91G) that disputes with your neighbors is one of life's HIGHEST stressors. Home is supposed to be home, right, and if you have a big ongoing dispute with a neighbor it can make home not feel like home. And you're supposed to be able to relax when you're at home. If you never have a place to reset it builds and builds and builds and stress is a cumulative thing. Sprinkle in some covid restrictions and boom - you shoot your neighbors in the head because they shoveled some snow in your yard and verbally abused you.
Prayers for all involved. An awful tragedy indeed!
