I went home and he had a 1.5hr drive back home empty handed.

That's bullshit, I'm assuming that he agreed to the price via PM, and then he shows up and offers you $200.00 dollars less than the agreed upon price. I'd slap him with a negative feedback, then he has to piss and moan to the mods to get them to remove it.

I hate people who inspect firearms, like they were a used car. It's exceedingly rare for a firearm to be worn out from excessive use. Most military issue rifles are worn out from excessive cleaning, mainly the crown of the barrel from the steel cleaning rods... anyway thanks for the heads up on this guy.
