One Art
By Elizabeth Bishop
The art of losing isn’t hard to master;
so many things seem filled with the intent
to be lost that their loss is no disaster.
Lose something every day. Accept the fluster
of lost door keys, the hour badly spent.
The art of losing isn’t hard to master.
Then practice losing farther, losing faster:
places, and names, and where it was you meant
to travel. None of these will bring disaster.
I lost my mother’s watch. And look! my last, or
next-to-last, of three loved houses went.
The art of losing isn’t hard to master.
I lost two cities, lovely ones. And, vaster,
some realms I owned, two rivers, a continent.
I miss them, but it wasn’t a disaster.
—Even losing you (the joking voice, a gesture
I love) I shan’t have lied. It’s evident
the art of losing’s not too hard to master
though it may look like (Write it!) like disaster.
Fire damaged the production building. Why is Pattak closed??????
Paying in benefits? Least she can do for making you work in the cold..Well, I’ll be helping my ex-GF empty her old storage place. Digging through 12 year-old crap covered in dust. In the cold. It’s gonna be great!!
Same here. I lost two houses, a wife and a shitload of in-laws last year, but somehow it didn’t bother me as much as losing a girlfriend last week.
Must be the ‘Rona.
Coworker and I hit GSR for dinner and then played some slots; I cashed out and dipped the F out after hitting that.

We just went there because we stayed at the Holiday inn that is literally down the street from our job at the Airport and the GSR is only 2 blocks away.I drove by GSR a few times for dinners in Sparks. I hear it's the nicest casino in the area
You left after doubling your money, smart man!I'm not as baller as @AirOpsMgr View attachment 142875

I still haven't been over to the Peppermill, my local Mgr claims it's the best for loose slots and where he's had most of his wins, said the food was good, but best buffet is at the Atlantis.
My coworker and I flew out Thur AM (I was going to try to hook up with you, but the airport cancelled my Airport badge renewal class on Wed, so we watched our ops then hit GSR and I had to go back in at 08:45 yesterday morning for my badge, then caught a flt back at 11AM). Got back to ATL through LAX around 10PM.
Might have to give that a try on my next trip there, I'm always down for some good baitSupposedly Oceano in Peppermill has the best all you can eat sushi. I'd have to agree since that's where I went on night 1
$39 all sushi and rolls. No sashimi or fancy rolls though, but the rolls are huge plenty of choicesMight have to give that a try on my next trip there, I'm always down for some good bait
True.Well, it's not much consolation, but better for one of you to figure it out sooner rather than later.
I love some real Escolar sushi when I can find it, but the rest of my body has a very different opinion after 4+ pieces .... it's the cat's ass going in, but rips me up everytime going out$39 all sushi and rolls. No sashimi or fancy rolls though, but the rolls are huge plenty of choices
