I may be wrong but home base is not held up by anyone other than your local sheriff.
What's the upside these days? Discounts at a couple vendors maybe? It was totally worth it about 10 years ago IMO.
I've attempted to order 4 c&r weapons in the last few weeks from various suppliers and they have FFL listed that you must use and refuse to add my local shop that's willing to send in his paperwork.
So they got the "well fuck you then, cancel that order" click.
With a c&r they would send straight to me vs their listed FFLs plus I be allowed to take in C&R from individuals as well as estate sales (as long as it's a listed C&R)
