I was getting the 590 confused with the 930.
I’m more familiar with the Rem 870 and 1100
That looks pretty fun! I had the impression it was a lot more like the Mammoth course, where competitors carry all of their gear from stage to stage (often many miles apart), camp on the course, and have to survive in the snow overnight with all their gear.
This course looks a lot more like a long-range Precision Rimfire course, where it’s just a bunch of stages strung end to end, and not timed getting from one stage to the other like Mammoth.
In other words, there’s the off-chance I could actually ’compete’ (show up and only embarrass myself a bit) in a Run-n-Gun, instead of just flat dying like I thought was gonna be the case!!!

I’ve been taught to respect alcohol as being a beverage that deserves respect, and therefore shouldn’t be wasted.
