Holy crap it's a buck a round to send 40 grains of bullet!
I know. If the gun was cheaper I could live with the ammo being pricey. But the gun is expensive as hell too.

I would go the AR57 route but those uppers are stupid expensive now.

And the new 5.7 ARs use stick mags which doesn't appeal to me.

Ok, ok, here's a pic. I didn't really want a HOB (hang on back) but that's what i wound up with somehow.

Oh, holy shit! It really IS camouflaged!!!

I really have no idea what I’m looking at here, anyway. I know more about traveling to the moon than I do about fish tanks.

If you want a boutique AR caliber, I've got a .300blk pistol upper and 200 rounds of Match Kings you can have for $400.

That's a killer deal but I'm looking for a boutique suppressor host for my 5.56 Surefire can...PS90 would fit the bill nicely but there are some issues to overcome. 1st being the 1/2x28 adapter so I can use the mount. To SBR I'd have to cut the barrel...the 10.3" CMMG barrel won't leave enough out front to mount the suppressor. If I don't SBR, it seems kind of wonky to remove the barrel shroud, 1/2x28 adapter, pin and weld the Surefire mount. (If I went this route, I'd cut/crown/thread at 14 or so inches to get back to 16 with the adapter and mount) A normal thickness barrel that could be threaded 1/2x28 would have been ideal but that's not how FN engineered the thing
