Anyone know anything about tires? Wife's camry current ones ain't even last 25k seems like shit to me
I'm not a tire expert but I have driven quite a bit on the interstates driving back and forth between Ft. Knox and Ft. McCoy. The factory Goodyear's on my old Nissan, were great tires as well as the Yokohamas I replaced them with. The Factory Goodyear Wrangler SR-A's on my RAM 1500 were fucking trash, I took them off after only 5k on my new truck.
The factory Hankook tires on my wife's car lasted about 40k... but then again they are sport tires, and my wife likes to "curb" the car. So there was a slight issue with her cars alignment when I replaced her tires a few days ago.
Other than that, she drives pretty slow, and in traffic most of the time. Her birthday present from me was a new set of tires and a alignment.
Did you buy the car used, but it had new tires on it? If so, the used car dealer could have put winter tires on it, and those wear out much faster since they are made with much softer materials, in comparison to all season tires.
