I was looking at P229, but Arex is cheaper how is the trigger? It's really close. I don't think there is any parts compatibility, but it's certainly based off of the P229.
The trigger is good. It's a little on the heavy side, but the break is consistent and clean. I followed @Jstegman1 's advice and got the competition spring kit to lighten up the trigger pull.I was looking at P229, but Arex is cheaper how is the trigger?
I already have a 226 with the SRT trigger that I got for a very fair price. Was looking at 229 to complement it. Arex might get me there cheaper. The trigger is good. My only gripe about the pistol is that the stock grips are worthless.
I have a German frame P226 which I like a lot, but I'm not sure I'd buy one new.
It will, and I'd say they were comparable feature-wise. The Sig has better aftermarket support though.I already have a 226 with the SRT trigger that I got for a very fair price. Was looking at 229 to complement it. Arex might get me there cheaper.
