I was looking at P229, but Arex is cheaper how is the trigger?
The trigger is good. It's a little on the heavy side, but the break is consistent and clean. I followed @Jstegman1 's advice and got the competition spring kit to lighten up the trigger pull.
My only gripe about the pistol is that the stock grips are worthless.

I have a German frame P226 which I like a lot, but I'm not sure I'd buy one new.

I already have a 226 with the SRT trigger that I got for a very fair price. Was looking at 229 to complement it. Arex might get me there cheaper.
