I was looking at P229, but Arex is cheaper how is the trigger?
The trigger is good. It's a little on the heavy side, but the break is consistent and clean. I followed @Jstegman1 's advice and got the competition spring kit to lighten up the trigger pull.
My only gripe about the pistol is that the stock grips are worthless.
I have a German frame P226 which I like a lot, but I'm not sure I'd buy one new.
And.... here's another case of people not wanting to pay the bill.
If they have that structural study done, any engineer will find lots of problems.
I already have a 226 with the SRT trigger that I got for a very fair price. Was looking at 229 to complement it. Arex might get me there cheaper.
It will, and I'd say they were comparable feature-wise. The Sig has better aftermarket support though.
