Not sure the industry agrees on numbers anymore. Got some email the other day, can't remember from what retailer, advertising "cases" of 5.56 as 250 rds.
I’ve seen that too. I’ve bought 200 round cases of 300BLK, 308, and 350 legend. But 222/556, 9mm and 45acp has always been a thousand rounds.
Except for IMI 556, which was 1200 rounds.
