Flash Hiders

My flash hider is the original that came on my AR15 and its not to kind to those beside me on the line. Is there a favorite of yours that you like and other shooters lt or rt of you can handle that you can recommend. Thanks.

Never had a problem with .556 bothering anyone, but maybe a Flaming Pig? Who knows. I do know my .308 bothers some. In fact, @Speednut was shooting it on top of a gun guard case and split it open. In fact @2001SportTJ was there

Yup. That was crazy...was it that gun or @Speednut's .357 mag Thompson that he shot that balloon at 300 yards(on the first try) with? I can't remember.

The birdcage is fine for those around you. Nothing is directed to the side or down, everything is forward or up. Or put a can on it.

Flash hiders are not that bad, Its the muzzle breaks that are loud as hell to other shooters

A muzzle break tends to dump all the gasses to the side, keeping the barrel down, great for the shooter, but really loud for the guys next to him.
