I picked up a FDE Gen 3 Glock 23 in trade. Love the way it looks but I was wondering if the fact that it was FDE made it more valuable/desirable. What are your thoughts?
I love 40 cal. I will never understand the hate. That's cool. Means more for me.I believe some are willing to pay even more than that. The fact is, they aren't nearly as common as the standard black Glocks and some will pay more to be different. Only downside is it's in .40, which is not as highly sought as other calibers.
No competition from me, I only shoot .45 these days. Might one day venture back into 9mm territory, but doubt it will be anytime soon.I love 40 cal. I will never understand the hate. That's cool. Means more for me.
Does it have the powdery "parkerized type finish" or the slick "frying pan finish"?Less... I have an FDE Glock and the finish SUCKS. If you plan to carry it, get ready to see bare metal in a couple of months.
Lipsey's CerakoteDoes it have the powdery "parkerized type finish" or the slick "frying pan finish"?
Yeah, more proof that ceracote is a poor primary finish.
Mine has the frying pan finish.
Here's a better look.
Man I feel like I've been hit by a truck. That baseball was moving. I have a black eye today. Freaking 8 year olds.Weird lighting. One thing I notice is that sometimes mine looks green, chocolate brown, or FDE. It almost changes colors.
BTW how is your face? I noticed your instagram photos.
