I just went to the OpticsPlanet website to look at magazines for my P2000. All they have is 10rd mags. I called them and they said that they don't sell "High Capacity" magazines to non-LEO now.

yah i've heard it was actually a law that got change in IL that now prevents them from doing so but i have no clue if there is any truth to that

I heard the same thing.

Yep. They released a statement saying it was because the state they are based out of won’t let them sell magazines that hold more than 10. This is not them folding to pressure like Dicks did.

The new law says 16rds...

"The new preemption law voids all handgun restrictions in Illinois. § 3-13G-3 bans the transfer, acquisition, possession, manufacture or distribution of assault ammunition (any detachable ammunition magazinehaving a capacity of more than 16 rounds).Feb 10, 2018
